This is the most creative resignation I’ve ever seen. Well done.
I’d hire you (said the producer).

She hit it on the head with this skit. “Girls” is unbelievably pathetic. Someone give me my own show and I’ll give you an Emmy winner about life in NYC in your twenties…and it won’t be this ridiculously self indulgent. That is all.
What is it to praise?
Make yourself particles.
What is it to know something of God?
Burn inside that presence. Burn up.
Copper melts in the healing exlixir.
So melt your self in the mixture.
that sustains existence.
You tighten your two hands together,
Determined not to give up saying “I” and “we.”

Yeah, yeah… I know that Halloween hasn’t even happened yet, but I’m beginning my Christmas list now. Periodically, I will post gifts I think worthy of “the list” and I’m beginning it with these: Cards Against Humanity.
If you and yours have a sick sense of humor… or are maybe just a smidge dead inside, this card game is for you.
The makers of this brilliant game describe it as:
“Unlike most of the party games you’ve played before, Cards Against Humanity is as despicable and awkward as you and your friends.””
Excellent!

Far too funny not to share with the world.
There’s a chill in the air …and you know what that means: Halloween is on its way.
Here’s a photograph I took in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Seattle to get you in that ghoulish mood. You can also purchase this photo o my website at http://www.chattergoldstudios.com
Remember these brave men in the fire house next door to my east village apt
the dust covered people walking home in shock
running to the blood banks to see if our blood type is what they wanted…
stuffing socks in the window corners to keep smoke from entering our apt
the deafening silence but for sirens and engines …
of mobile mortuaries..
and how all of New York City became brothers
and sisters…
helping one another.
