The Experiment

The Experiement

(Somewhere in the 90’s)

Experimental movements
Social obligations
Each turn
Each take
A different moment
and interpretation.
His smile
lights your soul
for a little while,
But the flame only burns
When his smile
Stays consistent
Beside you
In front of you
Inside you.
Trust ignited
Inhibitions let go
And you are his
And he is yours
And there is no one
else
In the world.

Flame (Poems From Yesteryear)

candle

The candle flame flickers
As I sit here and stare
Wondering if
You’re wondering where
I am
Or
Who
I am with
Or if
I’m thinking of you
As you think of me
Too.
I sit here staring
The candle flickers
Are you caring?
About me?
Like I care about you?
The candlelight flickers
Telling me…
You do.

All black and white.

Years change me

Visions transform

Path becomes blurry

Too many choices

Revelation

Disintegration

Transformation

In a world full of color.
